A little bookblog. This is a sideblog and therefore I follow from mariethelibrarian-main. I love books, simple as that. My ask is always open!

11 questions tag

I was tagged by the absolute sweetheart negative-pessimist <3

Rule #1: Do not talk about Fight Club

Rule #1 Part 2: Always post the rules
Rule #2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked, then write 11 new ones

Rule #3: Tag

1. List at least one thing you like about yourself.

I like my eyes and nose :)

2. You get to impose any law of your choosing in your country without any intervention from your existing government. What law(s) would you pass?

I suck at this, and I don’t like deciding for others. And my mind is blank. But I would make a law that says that every school should have a library with a librarian at their school!! Cause its so important! And equal pay for equal work!

3. A book you think everyone should read if they haven’t already.

The Book Thief and Matilda.

4. Say something nice about some of the people you know on Tumblr.

negative-pessimist is the sweetest thing ever. books-and-cookies are the bestest. shecarriedthestars is wonderful in every way. thegirlofnovels is the most awesome ever, her babbles are the best. and I love you all, don’t feel bad that I didn’t mention you, I just don’t wanna tag all of my follow forever list again <3

5. Your favourite cartoon character (my sketches suck but this is just so i can send you something else other than winnie the pooh the next time/if i ever decide it’s a good idea to send you one)

Cartoon characters. I really like Stitch, but also minions. Minions <3

6. What do you think your friends would say if you ask them what they liked about you?

That they like that I’m a good listener and I make hillarious and awfully crappy jokes. and that I’m there for them.

7. A song that describes what you’re feeling right now.

Smile - Lily Allen perhaps!

8. How’s your day going?

Its going good! :D

9. Are you okay?

Yes. Today is a good day.

10. Something you want to see happen in the foreseeable future.

I want to get a steady full-time job as a librarian for young people.

11. Be able to go back to the past but not be able to change a thing, or to go to the future but not be able to manipulate your present?

Neither. I like it now :)

My first giveaway went so well and my first week of college was much better than I thought it would be. Sooo this giveaway is a double celebration. Good college experience and HALLOWEEN! Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. (It’s like Christmas for me without all the family stress.) However, I grew up in a strict Christian household and so I never really got to celebrate the “devil’s holiday.” Now I’m going to celebrate with all of you by randomly choosing a stranger to buy stuff for! Yay!Rules:
First and foremost, no giveaway blogs.
You must be following me. (At least for giveaway updates. No hard feelings if you unfollow me after, but I’d recommend sticking around for other giveaways. I’ll be doing a lot of them. They’re so much fun!)
To enter reblog and/or like this post.
There will be one winner who may choose anything on Book Depository worth up to $15 (USD). There may be some wiggle room allowed depending on how much pricier whatever you want is. It doesn’t hurt to ask. So, yes, if you want $15 worth of bookmarks, they’re yours. Two paperbacks that come to $15? Yours.
The winner will have 48 hours from the time I message them to reply before I will choose another winner.
I’ll be using Book Depository so the giveaway is open internationally, assuming they ship to you.
Obviously you’ll have to feel comfortable giving me your address. (No worries, I’m too poor and overwhelmed by my life as it is to stalk anyone.)
This giveaway ends midnight October 29th of 2014. The winner will be picked sometime on the 30th. That’s US Eastern Time.
For privacy reasons I will not post your name publicly without your permission, but I will likely reveal your picks.
Feel free to message me with any questions… or if you want to say hello. I love messages.
